About the role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Technician - Mechanical to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment, buildings, and machinery at our Manufacturing Plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Superintendent.
What you will be doing
- Conduct regular inspections and perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely;
- Diagnose mechanical issues, identify malfunctions, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements of defective parts;
- Install and set up new machinery and equipment according to specifications, ensuring they are operational and meet safety standards;
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including documenting interventions and outcomes;
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment, and ensure all mechanical systems comply with safety standards.
What you will bring
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and tools. This includes the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints;
- Ability to diagnose issues, think critically, and implement effective solutions to mechanical problems;
- Precision in performing maintenance and repairs, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards;
- Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, to report issues, document work, and collaborate with team members;
- Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to new technologies and methods in the field.
