About The Role – Operator – MMU (Commercial Driver) – Gahcho Kue – Fly In-Fly Out
We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for a Mobile Mixing Unit Operator with our Orica Canada team. In this role, you will help coordinate the production and delivery of products at our plant, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled promptly and efficiently. You will work to maintain smooth operations while keeping labor and raw material costs to a minimum. Additionally, you will collaborate effectively with other departments to support overall organizational success.
Work Schedule : 14 X 14 (REMOTE camp site) FLY IN / FLY OUT
What you will be doing
• Ensure that raw materials and dangerous goods are used, handled, and stored safely and in accordance with the Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Minimise environmental impact by carefully controlling and reducing waste.
• Immediately report any unusual incidents or accidents as soon as they occur.
• Take part in daily Toolbox talks and attend Monthly Safety Meetings to stay updated on safety practices.
• Keep your personal training up to date according to the Orica Training Matrix for your role.
• Perform other related duties, including filling in at other locations when needed, as instructed by your supervisor and within your level of competence.
• Support the client in meeting production targets and maintaining efficient operations.
• Notify Orica site management if you notice any changes in product specifications, appearance, or performance.
Your qualifications
• 2 years of related experience
• Class 3 drivers license with air brake endorsement
• Clean drivers abstract
• Ability to clear a pre-employment criminal check, drug screen, and physical
