About the AusPac Graduate Program
We are excited to invite applications for our 2026 Graduate Program, commencing in February 2026.
As a graduate, you’ll be part of a two-year program featuring:

About the Graduate Blasting Technical Services opportunities
As a Graduate Blasting Engineer, you will have the opportunity to rotate through a variety of Technical Services teams to make a tangible impact on our day-to-day operations.
Your graduate program will include:
• A significant period on site as a part of a blast crew to learn the practical, hands-on aspects of blasting;
• Experience providing customers with product stewardship of electronic blasting systems, wireless blasting systems and bulk explosive delivery systems;
• Formal in-class learning with from industry experts to develop deep understanding of blasting concepts, blast design skills, and explosive product knowledge;
• Contribute to project teams delivering explosive product implementations, blast performance & design optimisation, and innovative technology trials;
• Shadowing a senior Technical Service Engineer to gain invaluable exposure to project management, technical investigations and specialist blasting engineering skills;
• Travel to remote customer sites within the region to support operations and build strong customer relationships.

• Open-cut Metalliferous
• Open-pit Coal
• Underground Metalliferous

• Adelaide, SA

• Mackay, QLD
• Newcastle, NSW
• Perth, WA
What you will bring:
You’re studying or have recently completed a degree in:
• Mining, Civil Engineering
• Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or Earth Science related Disciplines
• Mechanical or other Engineering related degrees
Graduation year: 2024 or 2025
Degree level: Bachelor’s, Postgraduate, or Master’s
Location & Support
Your first rotation will be based at Perth, WA.
Future rotations may include other exciting locations across AusPac (to be confirmed).
