Your Role as a Graduate – SHES
As a Graduate – SHES, you will join Orica's Global SHES Team, supporting the governance and continuous improvement of our safety, health, environment, and security systems, programs, and risk management frameworks.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SHES operations within a global organization. Through exposure to multiple functions, sites, and projects, you will develop practical skills in risk management, process safety, compliance, data analysis, and continuous improvement while contributing to creating safer and more sustainable workplaces across Orica's manufacturing and mining operations worldwide.

What you will be doing
- Support SHES Risk Management: Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating SHES risks across global manufacturing and mining sites;
- Implement SHES Programs: Contribute to the development and execution of SHES programs to ensure compliance with global safety standards;
- Build understanding of Process Safety: Participate in process safety initiatives to improve knowledge of operational safety and prevent incidents;
- Maintain SHES Systems: Help manage and optimize SHES systems to ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis;
- Conduct Safety Audits: Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to safety protocols;
- Promote Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing SHES performance data and recommending enhancements;
- Engage in Training and Development: Participate in SHES training programs to build knowledge and skills and help deliver training to site personnel.
What you bring
- A degree completed or due for completion in 2026 in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety;
- Ability to analyze SHES data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights;
- A willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on, industrial environment;
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills;
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within diverse teams.

This role will be based in our Perth Office, WA, where you'll gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside industry experts in a collaborative and innovative environment.
