About the role

 

This pivotal role supports the commercial and technical delivery of Orica’s WireBMR™ tool. It bridges technical expertise with client-facing support, helping to build Customer trust and drive revenue growth. The role is focused on enabling the successful application of the WireBMR™ product in the hydrogeology market, ensuring clients receive value and supporting the broader commercial success of the application.

 

The position is based in Welshpool WA, the hub of Orebody Intelligence technology design and manufacture in Australia.

What you will be doing

 

  • Supporting the sales team and clients with technical knowledge of the WireBMR™ tool.
  • Delivering clear and accurate data outputs while maintaining quality in data processing.
  • Providing technical input during client meetings, conferences, and proposal development.
  • Building trust with clients by offering clear, practical guidance on applying WireBMR™ data to their operations.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand WireBMR™ adaptation within existing and new client bases.

What you will bring

 

  • Bachelor of Applied Geology from an Australian university preferred.
  • Master or PhD of Applied Geology with a specialization in Hydrogeology from an Australian university preferred.
  • Ability to travel internationally with no restrictions.
  • 5–10 years of experience in hydrogeology with a strong technical foundation.
  • Proven ability to deliver practical, client-focused technical insights to assist hydrogeology clients’ decisions to progress with technology adoption.
