About the role

 

Are you passionate about technology and mining operations? Axis Mining Technologies is seeking two Field Support Technicians to join our dynamic AusPac Regional team one position will be based in Kalgoorlie and the other in Welshpool, WA. These customer-facing roles are ideal for people who thrive in the field, enjoy solving technical challenges, and are eager to support cutting-edge mining technologies.

 

As a Field Support Technician, you will provide in-field and remote support to customers using Axis Mining Technologies’ suite of equipment and services. You will be instrumental in training users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless integration of our tools into client operations.

What you will be doing

  • Managing cloud-based data tools for drilling and geological data.
  • Analysing drilling data for survey and core orientation validity.
  • Scheduling rig site travel and implement SOPs to meet customer needs.
  • Providing feedback to improve user interfaces.
  • Training customers in field software and integration with their systems.
  • Troubleshooting and supporting Axis products.
  • Calibrating downhole survey tools and instruct operators on usage and maintenance.
  • Assisting with rental kit setup as needed.

  • Knowledge of network architecture, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
