About the role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly capable Finance Business Partner to join our team in Welshpool, WA. In this role, you will sit at the heart of our commercial operations, acting as the key strategic finance interface that helps drive decisions, performance, and value across the business.

 

This is a position where your financial insights will shape outcomes, improve commercial effectiveness, and influence leaders across multiple functions. You’ll help the business understand underlying performance, identify strengths and opportunities, guide investment decisions, and build the financial discipline needed to support long‑term success.

What you will be doing

Commercial & Strategic Finance Partnership

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to regional and functional teams, driving accountability and performance.
  • Identify and address unprofitable contracts, maximise value capture, and strengthen variation management.
  • Ensure new business proposals and commercial submissions accurately reflect financial insights and assumptions.

 

Financial Insight & Performance Management

  • Conduct commercial reviews of sites, customer contracts, and cost structures to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Provide key inputs for consolidated P&L, capex reviews, mid‑month estimates, and monthly reporting.
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting processes across business functions.

 

Capital, Cost & Cash Management

  • Build financial models and business cases to support capital requests in line with Group standards.
  • Challenge business assumptions and partner with leaders to deliver expected returns.
  • Support working capital optimisation and drive cash maximisation efforts across the business.

 

Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration

  • Engage with leaders at multiple levels, including C‑suite, to translate financial insights into action.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships that enable clear communication, transparency, and shared accountability.
  • Provide objective financial guidance that supports strategy, transformation, and operational execution.

What you will bring

  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with 7+ years post‑qualification experience
  • Strong commercial and strategic finance acumen
  • Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence across functions
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables
  • Advanced analytical, financial modelling, and problem‑solving capability
  • Resilience, adaptability, and confidence operating in both strategic and hands‑on environments
  • A commitment to integrity, transparency, and high ethical standards
