About the role

 

We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a talented Operator - MCU to assist with coordinating the production and delivery of activities at their respective plant, ensuring that products are supplied to customers in a timely and effective manner, that operations run smoothly with minimum labour and raw material costs, and that there is strong collaboration with other departments across the organisation. This role is located at Aktogay Copper Mine Site, Kazakhstan and reports to the Site Supervisor.
 
 
As an Operator - MCU, you will play an important role in supporting safe, efficient and sustainable mining operations. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, help optimise operational performance, and ensure high standards of quality and compliance are maintained. What you will be doing

 

  • Comply with the requirements of the Our Charter, Operating procedures and standards;
  • Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods are used, handled and stored according to requirements of the SDS;
  • Ensure minimum damage to the environment through waste minimisation and control;
  • Report all Unusual Incidents and Accidents immediately;
  • Participate in daily Toolbox talks and Monthly Safety Meetings.

  • Generally up to 2 years experience;
  • Self-aware and open to feedback;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Productive without compromising quality;  
  • Highly reliable and motivated to excel.
