About the role
We are excited to share an opportunity for the position of Engineer/Representative – Technical Services. This role is pivotal in supporting our customers' Technical Services needs, with a strong focus on Product Stewardship, delivering measurable value, and contributing to sustainable revenue growth for Orica.
The position is based at the Aktogay Copper Mine Site and reports directly to the Senior Engineer Representative – Technical Services.
What you will be doing
- Develop Customer Technical Relationship Contributes to customer needs and business development opportunity identification;
- Analyse blast measurements and assessing performance against a baseline;
- Prepare of differentiation product and services offerings;
- Manage product / service implementation projects;
- Develop case studies, Product application stewardship;
- Run training and accrediting customers in Orica courses;
- Conduct training and mentoring for Blast Technicians.
What you will bring
- Mining Engineer Bachelor Degree;
- Bringing deep technical knowledge to support customer operations, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet specific site challenges and deliver measurable improvements;
- Promoting safe, responsible, and sustainable use of Orica’s products, aligning with both regulatory standards and customer expectations;
- Focused on delivering tangible value through process optimization, cost-efficiency, and performance enhancements that contribute to long-term customer success;
- On-the-ground presence at the Aktogay Copper Mine enables real-time support, faster issue resolution, and stronger collaboration with site teams;
- By aligning technical services with business goals, the role contributes to customer satisfaction and loyalty, driving sustainable revenue for Orica.
