About the role

We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a talanted Trainee Operator - MCU  in bulk explosive delivery that requires the incumbent to perform all aspects of the role under direct supervision until deemed competent in accordance with the set training schedule. This is remote position based at Aktogay Mine Site, Kazakhstan reporting to Site Supervisor.

What you will be doing

• Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods are used, handled and stored according to requirements of the SDS;
• Ensure minimum damage to the environment through waste minimisation and control;
• Report all Unusual Incidents and Accidents immediately;
• Participate in daily Toolbox talks and Monthly Safety Meetings;
• Maintain all personal training against the Orica training Matrix for your role. 

What you will bring

• Generally up to 2 years experience;
• Self-aware and open to feedback;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Productive without compromising quality;
• Highly reliable and motivated to excel.
   

Role dependent - technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
