About The Role – Product Commercialization Lead (Vancouver / Mount Pleasant BC)
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Product Commercialization Lead – Project Agora within our Digital Solutions team focused on driving market adoption and commercial success of a new B2B SaaS platform. Working closely with Product Management and Marketing, this role shapes how the platform is positioned and tailored to meet the needs of diverse customer segments, including government, insurers, engineering consultancies, and geotechnical professionals. Using a data-driven and evidence-led approach, the role provides actionable insights that inform product roadmap decisions and go-to-market strategy.
What you will be doing
• Lead customer discovery and value proposition testing through interviews, workshops, and field engagements with priority customer groups.
• Define user personas, jobs-to-be-done, workflows, and success measures to ensure the platform addresses real customer problems.
• Identify and prioritize segment-specific needs, including outputs, reporting formats, alerts, integrations, terminology, and assurance requirements.
• Translate validated customer insights into clear, actionable product requirements such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization inputs.
• Contribute to the development of commercial offers, including packaging options, pricing inputs, and calls to action informed by customer evidence.
• Design and support pilot and proof-of-value engagements with early adopters, defining success metrics and capturing outcomes.
• Support go-to-market readiness by developing messaging, proof points, FAQs, and sales enablement materials in collaboration with Product and Marketing.
• Monitor competitive, regulatory, and standards-related developments that impact customer adoption and procurement.

• Strong customer discovery and research skills, with the ability to plan, facilitate, and synthesize interviews and workshops.
• Ability to translate technical or data-driven concepts into clear customer outcomes and tailored value propositions.
• Structured problem-solving and prioritization skills, with a track record of turning insights into actionable recommendations.
• Commercial acumen, including experience with packaging, pricing inputs, procurement considerations, and value-based messaging.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and external partners.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating concise materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• High level of cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering/Data, Marketing, Sales/Business Development, and supporting functions.

Your qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in commercialization, product management or marketing, customer success, strategy, consulting, or business development, ideally in B2B SaaS environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading customer discovery initiatives and delivering pilots or proof-of-value engagements with measurable outcomes.
• Proven ability to translate voice-of-customer insights into actionable product requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, geoscience, data/analytics, postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA are desirable.
• Relevant certifications or training in Product Management, Design Thinking, Agile, customer research, or project management are an asset.

Compensation
• Salary Range $107,700 - $140,000 CAD
• Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
