About The Role – Class 3 Driver – 14 days on/14 days off, (Red Chris, BC, Canada)
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Class 3 Driver within our Orica Canada team focused on ensuring production occurs on a timely basis following all safety procedures and taking a pro-active teamwork approach focused on coordinating assigned machine operation and product handling functions.

What you will be doing
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and vehicles
- Ensure safety for yourself and your team—active participation in safety programs
- Deliver products to customers and depots, meeting demand schedules
- Perform quality control testing and maintain high standards
- Support plant administration, stocktaking, and record-keeping
What you will bring
- Ability to work in all types of weather
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to quickly determine potential issues and problem solve accordingly.
- Requires thorough and meticulous completion of regulatory paperwork.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Flexible to fast changes as needed during production process.
- Entry level computer skills including Internet and Windows applications.
- Ability to provide a clear criminal check.
- Ability to provide a clear driver abstract.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment/post offer physical and drug screen.
Work Schedule
- Fly in / Fly Out
- 14 days on / 14 days off, approx 12 hour days
Your qualifications
- High School /Secondary School diploma or equivalent
- Class 3 Drivers License Required.
- 2+ years’ experience in commercial driving with experience with dangerous goods, bulk explosives, heavy industry, or process plant

Compensation
- Hourly Rate Range - $38.00 to $41.00 CAD
- 14 days on / 14 days off
- Approximately 12 hour shifts
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
