About the role

 


We’re excited to welcome applications for the role of Plant Operator at our Ulan Amex and Gasser manufacturing facility, located near Mudgee, NSW.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our plant to meet production and distribution goals, all while upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.

What you will be doing

 

  • Product delivered to customers and Orica Depots to meet demand schedule.
  • The manufacturing plant and delivery vehicles are maintained according to schedule.
  • Accurate provision of delivery dockets to customers.
  • Perform QC testing on incoming raw materials and products being dispatched to customers.
  • Maintaining vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
  • Ensure raw materials are ordered promptly and received, stored, and handled correctly.
  • Ensure the timely calibration of manufacturing equipment and MMUs.

What you will bring

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a dangerous goods/bulk explosives/heavy industry/process plant environment is preferred.
  • Skills: Basic autoelectrics, Basic hydraulics, Quality Systems, and basis of safety.
  • Possess an unquestioned reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values, and solid character.
  • Model resilience and flexibility; adapt well to new circumstances and adversity.
  • Good understanding and focus on customer and business promise deliverables.
