About the role

What you will be doing

• Interacting directly with customers across various departments – D&B, Geology, Geo-tech, GIS, Metallurgy, Comminution and Operations – understand the unique challenges/constraints they operate under and articulate to them how Orica’s solutions address those challenges.  
• Work with customers to identify opportunities for improvement utilising Orica digital technologies in blasting, grade control and geotechnical monitoring applications, leading the sales and deployment process. 
• Lead training workshops during implementation and periodically afterwards to help customers realize the full value of Orica solutions.  
• Act as the Orica liaison for customer’s technical inquiries, issues or escalations. This will include working with Orica Support team, Product owners, Architects, developers and/or others as needed.  
• Cement yourself as a trusted/strategic advisor with customers and drive continued value of our products and services. 
• Provide input into the product development roadmap, support models, and emerging technologies

What you will bring

• Production geology and grade control experience, including resource modelling, resource estimation, and reconciliation.
• At least 3 years of experience in the mineral resources industry, ideally across multiple sites or commodities.
• Strong technology capability, with experience managing data, geological models, and modern software applications.
• Strong English communication, technical writing, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
• Previous experience in sales, project management, customer relationship management, or training delivery is highly regarded.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and to remote locations, with travel of up to 50% when required
