About the role

The Plant and Maintenance Supervisor leads and oversees shift-based operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans. The role is accountable for delivering consistent, high-quality output aligned with S&OP requirements, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, operational discipline, and process compliance.

 

This position is based in Cebu and reports directly to the Plant and Maintenance Superintendent. The Supervisor holds overall accountability for site operations, driving team performance, optimising plant reliability, and ensuring effective coordination between production and maintenance to achieve targets across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

What you will be doing

  • Ensures production meets required quality and volume targets on an hourly, daily, and monthly basis, aligned with S&OP commitments.
  • Monitors plant performance and promptly communicates any deviations from production plans, including plant trips, with clear updates on timelines and recovery actions.
  • Maintains plant operations within defined safe and efficient operating windows, ensuring all non-compliances are reported, investigated, and resolved.
  • Drives optimal plant efficiency and cost control through effective use of raw materials and maximising equipment availability.
  • Leads plant preparation activities for both planned and unplanned maintenance, including shutdowns, ensuring strict adherence to permit-to-work and safety processes.
  • Conducts regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities, documenting findings and ensuring timely closure of identified actions.
  • Manages and develops Shift Supervisors and production teams, overseeing performance, engagement, training, overtime control, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

What you will bring

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer with strong plant operations and maintenance background, including extensive experience in rotating equipment, heavy vehicles, and motor-driven machinery.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in production and maintenance environments, with solid exposure to planning, scheduling, dispatching, and integrated operations management.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing teams of at least 10–15 direct reports, driving performance, engagement, and capability development.
  • Strong expertise in PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical systems, including troubleshooting of industrial equipment and vehicle electrical circuits; proficient in using diagnostic tools such as vehicle scanners.
  • Proven experience in production planning, supply forecasting, and resource optimisation, with the ability to align maintenance and production activities to deliver operational targets.
