About the role
What you will be doing
- Conducts valid health assessments and engages appropriate specialist resources when needed; implements suitable actions based on findings.
- Supports and administers employee rehabilitation procedures and coordinates pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.
- Coaches and mentors leaders on occupational health practices and injury management strategies.
- Maintains confidential and up-to-date records of Health Assessments.
- Identifies employees requiring active risk management and escalates concerns to the Physician – Occupational Health and Human Resources.
- Ensures quality and accuracy in health-related record keeping.
- Contributes to the development and execution of the Annual Hygiene Plan.
- Advises Line Management on post-incident injury case management.
- Manages Health Assessments and provides professional occupational health support.
- Ensures compliance with Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation processes, offering expert support throughout.
- Actively supports health-related projects and continuous process improvements.
What you will bring
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in the Philippines.
- Holds a formal qualification in Occupational Health or equivalent training in workplace health and safety.
- Certified Rehabilitation Coordinator, with experience in managing return-to-work programs and injury recovery plans.
- Trained in First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation, with the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations on-site.
- Preferably with experience in industrial or mining environments, and a strong understanding of health risks and safety protocols in high-risk settings.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a proactive approach to health promotion and compliance.
