About the role

The Coordinator – Maintenance Planning is responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of effective work plans and schedules that optimise maintenance execution and maximise plant uptime. By ensuring planned activities are aligned with operational priorities, the role supports the Product Line in consistently achieving its objectives across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

 

This position is based in Cebu and reports directly to the Plant and Maintenance Supervisor. The role plays a key part in driving disciplined planning processes, improving equipment reliability, and enabling efficient resource utilisation to support overall plant performance.

What you will be doing

  • Develops and manages comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules (online, offline, preventive, predictive, and corrective), ensuring all required resources (materials, equipment, and labour) are in place.
  • Prepares and issues the weekly maintenance schedule, securing alignment and approval from the Maintenance Planning and Execution Superintendents.
  • Reviews and prioritises daily maintenance notifications, ensuring quality, completeness, and timely processing; engages subject matter experts for complex or unclear scopes.
  • Builds and continuously improves SAP maintenance task lists to standardise planning, while ensuring accurate work order closure and history recording in line with Reliability standards.
  • Supports budget control by monitoring maintenance spend and assisting the Maintenance Execution Superintendent in delivering against the annual maintenance budget.
  • Coordinates sourcing and contracts for maintenance services and resources, working closely with Supply Chain to ensure cost-effective and efficient execution.
  • Drives continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs, optimising planning processes, and collaborating with Reliability and Integrity teams on initiatives

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and critical spare parts identification.
  • Proven experience in maintenance operations for motor pools and light vehicles, including trucks, forklifts, compressors, and other motor-driven equipment.
  • Strong background in planning and scheduling maintenance activities, including parts requests, inventory coordination, and end-to-end execution of maintenance work.
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems, instrumentation, and truck electrical circuits, with the ability to troubleshoot and support technical issues.
  • Proficient in using vehicle diagnostic scanners and maintenance tools to ensure accurate fault detection and efficient repair execution.
