About the role

Be the backbone of our Cebu operations. As our Inventory/Logistics Coordinator, you’ll keep materials flowing end‑to‑end, ensuring stock availability, accurate inventory reporting, smooth shipping and import releases, and full compliance with local permits and safety standards.

 

You’ll work cross‑functionally with Commercial Sales, brokers, and transport contractors to deliver on‑time, cost‑effective results while maintaining Orica’s Safety Management System and local regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure sufficient supply and proper storage of finished goods (FG), raw materials (RM), and other materials to avoid stock-outs.
  • Coordinate with Commercial Sales for timely order processing and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor and report inventory levels and movements accurately and on time.
  • Process permits and licenses promptly and maintain compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage shipping and importation activities, including safe loading/discharging at Cebu Port and timely release of goods at Cebu International Port.
  • Oversee transport contractors to ensure compliance with Orica’s safety standards.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in logistics coordination, inventory management, and shipping operations
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance for permits, licenses, and liaison with local authorities (Barangay, PNP, port agencies)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) with strong reporting and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to manage contractors and ensure adherence to safety standards
