About the role

We are looking for a customer-focused Technical Sales Specialist to join our Geosolutions team in EMEA. This role is central to delivering consultative, solution-led support to customers and the Inside Sales team, driving product adoption and supporting business growth across our portfolio.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, supporting complex sales opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring a high standard of service across the region.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3–4 days per week in the office.

What you will be doing

• Deliver solution-led selling by understanding customer needs and aligning appropriate products and services.
• Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers and the Inside Sales team across the Geosolutions portfolio (RST Instruments, Measurand and Navstar).
• Act as a key point of contact for technical enquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Develop and present proposals and quotations for complex customer requirements.
• Support business growth by delivering responsive, high-quality customer service across EMEA.
• Use product and application knowledge to identify and develop new opportunities.
• Provide technical training and support to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, consultants, and channel partners.
• Manage customer and distributor expectations with a clear, customer-first approach.
• Collaborate with sales and brand teams to support campaigns, product launches, and growth initiatives.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations.
• Manage quotes, orders, and customer data using CRM and ERP systems (e.g. Salesforce, Epicor).
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity.
• Contribute to sales tracking, forecasting, and reporting activities.

What you will bring

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service within a technical environment.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles in an industrial or technical setting.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in solution selling across a multi-brand portfolio, ideally within the EMEA market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (desirable).
• At least 2+ years’ experience in geotechnical measurement and monitoring solutions (preferred).
• Experience within mining and/or civil construction sectors (advantageous).
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and ERP systems (e.g. Epicor or similar).
• Proven ability to build and manage strong customer relationships and account strategies.
• Familiarity with public tender processes (advantageous).
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within global teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
