About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Inside Sales Manager to lead our RST UK Inside Sales Team. Based in Stowmarket (UK) with a hybrid working model (in-office at least once per month), this role is essential in supporting the sales function, delivering high-quality customer service, and managing sales activities within the assigned market.
The Inside Sales Manager will coach and direct a team of inside sales representatives and coordinators, driving efficiency and ensuring best-in-class sales processes.

What you will be doing

As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Providing leadership, coaching, and direction to the Inside Sales Team.
• Equipping the team with Geosolutions brand knowledge to support timely customer response, accurate quoting, and order entry.
• Developing and implementing targeted sales strategies and calling plans.
• Establishing individual sales quotas and tracking performance.
• Driving process improvements and task delegation to maximize team output.
• Delivering competitive assessments, product/sales training, and pricing/contracting assistance.
• Ensuring accurate use of ERP, Salesforce, and QMS processes.
• Acting as the final authority on ERP processes for the Inside Sales Team.
• Building technical proficiency in RST/Measurand/3VG/Syscom/NavStar/Groundprobe product offerings.
• Supporting marketing and advertising initiatives to promote Orica’s products and services.
• Traveling to project sites and customer offices to build and strengthen client relationships.
• Representing Orica at industry exhibitions, conferences, and professional organizations.
• Delivering compelling presentations to customers at all levels.
• Collaborating with engineering and technical teams to define project requirements.
• Overseeing lead generation and qualification.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related field (asset).
• Minimum 6 years of Inside Sales experience; a combination of both will be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of Sales Management experience.
• Experience in instrumentation and civil construction markets (asset).
• Confident and effective communicator.
• Proven ability to lead and direct teams.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience administering policies and procedures, with some impact on budgeting and strategic planning.
• Ability to perform complex tasks following established processes.
• Customer-focused, organized, team-oriented, and detail-oriented.
