About the role
We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a talented SHES Coordinator, based in Ust-Kamenogorsk at the Orica Manufacturing Plant, this role reports directly to the SHES Specialist and plays a critical part in supporting the safe, compliant, and sustainable operation of our site.
As a SHES Coordinator, you will partner closely with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards, and drive continuous improvement across Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) practices.
What you will be doing
- Monitor and ensure compliance with SHES regulations and company standards across operations;
- Conduct regular field inspections, audits, and proactive risk identification activities;
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and support workforce training initiatives;
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and maintain accurate records in systems (e.g., Enablon);
- Support implementation of SHES procedures, including PTW, risk assessments, LOTO, and environmental controls.
What you will bring
- Knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and industrial safety standards;
- Experience in site inspections, audits, and risk management within industrial or manufacturing environments;
- Ability to identify hazards and implement practical safety improvements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels;
- High level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement
