About the role

The Specialist - Source to Pay supports the development and implementation of sourcing and category strategies, executes plans, and tracks/measures results.

What you will be doing

Sourcing Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive, updated sourcing strategy that delivers the best financial outcomes for Orica.
Sourcing Process Execution: Execute the end-to-end sourcing process, ensuring outcomes meet or exceed business requirements and are fully aligned with Group Standards, ensuring security of supply and reliability
Supplier Database Management: Maintain an accurate database of suppliers, execution dates, and key stakeholders.
Collaborative Strategy Delivery: Work collaboratively with Contracts Management and Supplier Management to deliver the overall category strategy.
Change Communication: Assist in communicating sourcing changes to the business.
Supply Chain Risk Management: Anticipate and acts in the resolution of supply chain risk events.
Global Strategy Operationalization: Operationalize the global strategy within the region and site teams.
Opportunity Identification and Implementation: Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to maximize the effectiveness of the sourcing strategy concerning capital expenditure, sustenance capital, and operating expenditure across the region.
Responsible for identifying and delivering cost-saving opportunities, negotiating favorable payment terms, and driving synergies and service optimization across the region.
Develop, execute, and monitor an annual sourcing plan, ensuring alignment and timely execution in collaboration with key stakeholders
Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster an environment of collaboration with Orica's key stakeholder functions to deliver the best overall outcomes for the business.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Propose, develop and contribute with continuous improvement and innovative solutions with key suppliers.

Your qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in logistics, supply chain, business or engineering.
5 years experience in similar sized organisation and within procurement function.
Experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrial, and other relevant B2B Marketing industries.
Experience working with ARIBA is a plus
SAP MM experience required (S2P2P procceses)
English (B2), Spanish (B2)
PowerBI knowledge
