About the role

Schedule : 7 days of work / 7 days off work

The Yardperson provides bulk product delivery support to blast crews and assistance to crews for on bench operations. This vacancy is a new position.

What you will be doing

• Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”), keeping safety guards on equipment in place, using equipment safely, and looking out for the other members on your team
• Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
• Load and unload trucks
• Assist other team members when necessary

What you will bring

• 1 or more years of experience in a construction position - required
• High School or equivalent - preferred
• Mining, Quarry & Construction experience - a PLUS!
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction jobs
• Previous experience in commercial construction jobs
• Ability to work independently

Compensation

• $34.21 / hour
