Key Competencies

• Executing Strategical sourcing events for the implementation of the Sourcing plan that delivers the best financial outcome for Orica
• Maintain accurate database of suppliers, execution dates and key stakeholders
• Work as a team with Contracts Management and Supplier Management in overall category strategy delivery
• Work with team to report on supplier performance against service levels and key performance indicators
• Support the resolution of supply chain risk events
• Maintains all relevant master data related to sourcing activities

Accountabilities -

• Operationalises the global strategy within the Region and site teams
• Executes end to end sourcing activities under the direction of the Lead/Manager/senior Manager Sourcing
• Identify opportunities and implement initiativees to maximise the effectiveness of the sourcing strategy with respect
• Ensure compliance with Orica’s SH&E and Procurement policy and governance including in utilising preferred suppliers list.
• Improving overall Regional competitiveness by reducing Total Cost of Ownership while at the same time ensuring security of supply and reliability.
• Foster an environment of working together with Orica key stakeholders functions to deliver the best overall outcome for the business.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation solutions with key suppliers.
• Maintains all relevant master data related to sourcing activities

Experience -

Your qualifications

• Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrial, and other relevant B2B Marketing industries
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical checks
• Relevant Degree
• Some experience in an administration, procurement or accounts role
•  Knowledge of ARIBA for Source to Contract is critical
