About the role

The Specialist - Source to Pay supports the development and embedment of the sourcing and category strategy, execute according to plan and track/measure the results.

What you will be doing

Key Accountabilities Supports development of a comprehensive, updated Sourcing Strategy that delivers the best financial outcome for Orica Maintains accurate database of suppliers, execution dates and key stakeholders Works as a team with Contracts Management and Supplier Management in overall category strategy delivery Assists in communication of changes to sourcing to the business Works with team to report on supplier performance against service levels and key performance indicators Supports the resolution of supply chain risk events Operationalises the global strategy within the Region and site teams Executes end to end sourcing activities Identifies opportunities and implement initiatives to maximise the effectiveness of the sourcing strategy with respect to capital expenditure, sustenance capital and operating expenditure across the region. Ensures compliance with Orica’s SH&E and Procurement policy and governance including in utilising preferred suppliers list. Improves overall Regional competitiveness by reducing Total Cost of Ownership while at the same time ensuring security of supply and reliability. Fosters an environment of working together with Orica key stakeholders functions to deliver the best overall outcome for the business. Drives continuous improvement and innovation solutions with key suppliers.

  • Executing Strategical sourcing events for the implementation of the Sourcing plan that delivers the best financial outcome for Orica
  • Maintain accurate database of suppliers, execution dates and key stakeholders
  • Work as a team with Contracts Management and Supplier Management in overall category strategy delivery
  • Work with team to report on supplier performance against service levels and key performance indicators

  • Identify opportunities and implement initiativees to maximise the effectiveness of the sourcing strategy with respect

  • Improving overall Regional competitiveness by reducing Total Cost of Ownership while at the same time ensuring security of supply and reliability.

Your qualifications

 

  • Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrial, and other relevant B2B Marketing industries
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment medical checks
  • Relevant Degree
  • Some experience in an administration, procurement or accounts role
  •  Knowledge of ARIBA for Source to Contract is critical
