About the role
What you will be doing
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure site compliance to ORICA GS.12 Field Operations, GS.30 SHES Management, GS.32 Process Safety, GS.37 Asset Lifecycle Management and GOP_PM_01.0 Pump Management.
- Drives Fleet and Asset Management
- Comply with Management of Change - AA Approver.
- Drives Capital Management and Optimisation
- Drives compliance to Maintenance Management plans for all Assets on site
- Ensures all assets are within the Asset Life Cycle Management policy
- Ensures all repairs comply with purchasing requirements
- Mentors the Maintenance Team in Region
- Ensures all Operational Equipment has been Hazard Studied – actions completed before mobilisation
- Provides Field Measurement System Support
- Drives Statutory Licencing of Mobile Fleet.
What you will bring
- Engineering Degree qualification with 8yrs experience. This includes minimum 5 years of direct asset care or maintenance team management experience.
- Government Certificate of Competency (Factories) or regional equivalent required.
- Must be registered with Professional body- i.e. Engineering Council
- Experience in maintenance of earth moving equipment, drill and blast assets or the mining environment would be advantages.
- Computer literate – Excel, Power point, Power BI, SAP Fiori used daily.
- Team performance and disciplinary management.
- Customer engagement under stressful environment.
- Vendor / supplier engagement technical and commercial.
- Financial acumen & budgeting experience.
Role dimensions
- Span of Control: Up to 10 direct reports and up to 50 under direct influence
- Financial accountability: Delegation of Authority up to AUD50,000 (subject to change)
- Sphere of Influence: Division / Functional Speciality SME
- Travel Requirements: Yes, up to 50% Travel required
