About the role
We are delighted to offer opportunities to 2 skilled and experienced Project Managers to support the management of the capital project programme for Fixed Plant across the AusPac Mining Services Region. This role ensures strong governance, compliance with Orica’s project processes, and application of hazard study processes for all projects.
The position can be located in either Kurri Kurri, NSW; Cannon Hill, QLD or Perth WA.
What you will be doing
- Leading safe execution of projects, ensuring compliance with SHEC requirements and regulatory standards.
- Managing planning, design, implementation, and delivery of capital projects to achieve business objectives.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, costs, and performance; prepare capitalisations and forecasts.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
- Driving business improvement through governance, cost control, and process optimisation.
What you will bring
- Qualifications in Project Management are essential, with degrees in engineering or other relevant disciplines highly regarded. Significant industry experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years managing capital projects in an industrial environment, with strong commercial acumen and governance focus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, and SAP 4S.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
