About the role

 


We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our Kurri Kurri Quarry Services Team as MMU Operators.

This role is open to candidates from diverse backgrounds, not just mining. Whether you’ve worked in transport, construction, manufacturing, farming, or other hands-on environments—if you have the right skills and mindset, we want to hear from you.

You’ll receive full training and support to safely operate our advanced Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU) trucks and deliver bulk explosives at customer sites.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Live our core value: “Safety is our priority, Always”;
  • Operate MMU trucks and other plant machinery;
  • Assist with basic maintenance and equipment checks;
  • Support the safe delivery of explosives into blast holes;
  • Work closely with your team to deliver safe and reliable service to customer.

  • Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures;
  • Experience working in hands-on, outdoor, or physically demanding roles;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment;
  • Willingness to learn new skills and follow training;
  • Basic mechanical awareness (advantageous);
  • Good communication and reliability.


Requirements

  • Current HR Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain);
  • Ability to obtain SafeWork NSW Security Clearance;
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
