About the role
Lead the lifecycle management and demobilization of fixed assets across multiple non-operational sites in India. Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and operational standards while driving cost efficiency and timely execution.
What you will be doing
- Safety Leadership: Drive safety culture and compliance during all demobilization and asset-handling activities.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards, including statutory licensing for mobile electrical fleet.
- Demobilization Execution: Plan and lead site closures, including dismantling, hazardous material handling, and land handover.
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee acquisition, tagging, utilization, transfer, and disposal of fixed assets.
- Risk & Permit Management: Prepare JSERA, manage Permit-to-Work (PTW), and raise Alternative Authority/Management of Change (AA/MOC) requests.
- Process Development: Create and implement SOPs for demobilization and asset handling.
- Scrap & Hazardous Disposal: Coordinate environmentally compliant disposal of scrap and hazardous materials (HazDem).
- Vendor & Procurement Support: Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, and assist procurement.
- Reporting & Documentation: Deliver project progress reports, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, finance, procurement, and projects teams to ensure timely execution.
What you will bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred; Chemical acceptable).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in project execution, operations, or asset management.
- Technical Expertise:
- Site demobilization and dismantling of mechanical equipment (tanks, piping, pumps, structures).
- Handling cranes, hydras, and decontamination of tanks/piping.
- Strong knowledge of safety processes (JSERA, PTW, SOPs).
- Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems (preferred).
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
