About the role


We are excited to announce a pivotal opportunity for a Supervisor—GBS Commercial Support role to join our esteemed team in our GBS Manila office in Pasig City on a hybrid working setup.

The Supervisor—GBS Commercial Support is pivotal in leading a team of Account & Pricing Administrators, ensuring the seamless execution of daily commercial administrative tasks. This role involves overseeing the creation and maintenance of sales contracts, managing pricing mechanisms in SAP, and ensuring compliance with approval processes. 

This role will also handle master data maintenance, plant code configuration, and the generation of key commercial reports. By providing critical support to the Asia, AusPac, and North Europe regions, the supervisor ensures that all commercial activities are conducted efficiently and accurately, while also mentoring the team and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and processes.
 

What you will be doing


The Supervisor – GBS Commercial Support is responsible for ensuring the team delivers timely and accurate data entry and commercial administrative assistance. This includes creating and maintaining sales contracts, processing contract variations and checking Ariba approval compliance. They also manage business partner master data, plant code configuration, material master data requests, and contractual pricing mechanisms in SAP. Additionally, the supervisor oversees list price maintenance in SAP, collaborates with regional product managers for data analysis, creates sales invoices, credit notes, and debit notes, and prepares key commercial reports.

Beyond these core tasks, the supervisor assesses and responds to ad-hoc out-of-scope support requests, regularly analyzes key data to provide trend analysis and corrective actions, and acts as an SAP/system mentor, offering direct training as needed. They maintain key commercial information, propose continuous improvement activities to optimize workflows and processes, and manage day-to-day staffing and work allocation to ensure efficient operations.
 

What you will bring

 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar roles
  • 1-2 years direct people/team management experience (Preferred)
  • SAP S4 Hana experience  
  • Advanced English skills – written and spoken (Required) 
  • Ability to support Asia/AusPac/EMEA time zones. 
  • Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream. 
  • Proven influencer, able to manage processes across stakeholder groups and business boundaries, building the trust of others. 
  • Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable. 
  • Demonstrates resilience and flexibility. 
  • Possess unquestioned reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values, and character.                                    
  • Self-aware and open to feedback.   
  • Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy, integrity & accountability.  
  • High level decision making & problem-solving skills. 
  • Self-motivated, well organized, and logical, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
