About the role

 

The Supervisor – People Services, in this 6-month contract role, is responsible for overseeing and managing the tasks and workloads of the team. This team handles employee lifecycle and data management transactional services. The supervisor ensures that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately, providing guidance and support to team members as needed. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring that all HR-related transactions are completed in a timely and compliant manner, especially within the APA region.

What you will be doing

 

  • Role model personal commitment to Safety and Orica’s Charter and Value. 
  • Supervises all day-to-day duties and activities of specific team/process/sub stream within a specific process and/or in scope countries and ensure workload is fairly distributed across team members.
  • Promote the effective delivery, usage and reporting of HR systems ie: SuccessFactors, SNOW, AWS and payroll systems within the team.
  • Assists the People Services Manager in implementing KPIs for the team and acts as the business escalation point for tier 1 HR support requests.
  • Prepares an RCA for each issue encountered, study the identified causes, and classify which are due to business/other workstream dependencies and which are due to error. Implement preventive action plan/process improvement.
  •  Ensures stakeholder needs are met according to agreed SLAs and that all team deliverables meet quality standards, including proper creation of SNow tickets and adherence to procedures for each query.

What you will bring

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR transactional services preferably in HR Ops APA region.
  • Concise and effective communicator, both verbal and written, with team members, colleagues, and external parties as required.
  • Highly proficient in HRIS, preferably SuccessFactors. 
  • People management skills, with experience in leading and developing teams.
