About the role


We are excited to announce a pivotal opportunity for a SAP GTS Specialist role to join our esteemed team in our Manila office on a hybrid working setup.

The SAP GTS Specialist will provide consulting services for SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), handling all phases of the implementation process from blueprinting to user training. The responsibilities include researching solutions, preparing demos, testing functionalities, documenting processes, monitoring market trends, designing solutions with business representatives, developing and implementing user exits and enhancements, and providing support after the go-live phase.
 

What you will be doing


This SAP GTS Specialist is responsible for delivering feasibility studies, solution designs, blueprints, and specifications to meet business requirements. This role involves developing and maintaining technology blueprints, coding high-quality applications, and supporting the full application development lifecycle, including scoping, project definition, design, development, testing, and implementation. Accurate documentation for all aspects of application design, development, and implementation is essential.

In addition, the Specialist manages regular product releases and upgrades, reviews vendor notifications, coordinates impact assessments, and ensures appropriate communication to impacted business users. They provide SME advice and support to operational teams, assist with escalations, and ensure effective transition of support post-implementation. Stakeholder engagement is crucial, involving collaboration with business stakeholders, application leads, engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment and support for solutions. The role also includes maintaining flexibility in working hours, escalating potential issues, and adhering to IT governance frameworks and change management processes.

 

What you will bring

 

  • Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline
  • 5+ years in an IT application role
  • 5+ years SAP experience
    • Critical Functional Experience: SAP GTS with SAP SD knowledge
    • Preferred Functional Experience:


SAP Global Trade Services:   

 

  • Candidates with 5-8 years of experience with 2-3 Project implementation experience in GTS & 3+ years of experience in SAP SD 
  • Should have good knowledge on Compliance Management (Sanctioned party list Screening, Embargo, legal control, Product classification)
  • Custom Management (License control, Numbering, Commodity code, tariff code etc definition and build country specific configuration).  
  • Good knowledge on integration between SAP (S/4) & GTS and knowledge on enhancement using BADI’s
  • Analyse issues ( blocks, SPL result etc) & work with E&C team for the solution & further actions.
  • Risk management is a plus. 
  • S/4 GTS (EOH) working experience/migration experience is preferred.  
  • Good knowledge on the Integration between third party systems & GTS. 
  • Roll out experience in onboarding new countries to GTS & enabling the Compliance, License checks etc
  • Good knowledge in building forms, reports in GTS.
  • Exposure to  Order to cash process (Master data, Order management, Delivery, Invoice) is added advantage
