About the role


We are excited to announce a great opportunity at Orica for a Specialist - SAP C4C role be based in our GBS office in Pasig City on a hybrid working setup.

The Specialist - SAP C4C role entails configuring systems, migrating data, and ensuring a seamless transition to the SAP C4C environment. It requires extensive technical and functional expertise in implementing and supporting SAP C4C for Sales, Service, and Marketing modules, as well as their respective analytics. Additionally, the role demands experience in managing large-scale cross-functional projects.
 

What you will be doing


Solution Design & System Development

  • Deliver feasibility studies, solution designs, blueprints and specifications to meet business requirements for approved projects and governed change requests
  • Develop and maintain the artefacts that define the technology blueprints for associated applications
  • Develop, configure and/or code high-quality applications that are secure, sustainable, cost efficient from an operational perspective and meet business needs
  • Support the full application development lifecycle of allocated projects including scoping, project definition, design, development, testing and implementation
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all aspects of application design, development and implementation


Release & Lifecycle Management

  • Responsible for managing and implementing regular product releases and upgrades to area of responsibility with the operational teams and support vendors.
  • Review vendor notifications, coordinate and perform impact assessments, provide updates and recommendations to GPDO’s and key business stakeholders on impact and recommendations for optional enhancements
  • Ensure appropriate communication to impacted business users and coordinate and perform testing and change management activities
  • Ensure Orica's IT Assets are lifecycle managed for software applications within area of responsibility


Engineer support to Operational Teams

  • Provide SME advice and support to operational teams, assisting with escalations, root cause analysis, post incident reviews and business impact validation
  • Ensure project teams and engineers effectively transition support and maintenance of solutions post implementation to operational teams
  • Review operational reporting and ensure aligned to business and GPDO and attend Operational meetings with business stakeholders
  • Create and maintain documentation related to the installation, architecture, configuration, operation and troubleshooting for all applications
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the functionality and business processes of Orica’s applications


Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Engagement with key business stakeholders, GPDO’s and IT business engagement to design, deliver and support solutions
  • Engagement with Application leads, engineers and operational staff to ensure alignment across functional areas
  • Liaise with IT PMO Lead and IT Project Managers and teams to provide advice in the development of solutions and plans
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure teams to identify any interdependencies and/or application development needs to support infrastructure delivery


General 

  • Maintain flexibility on working time to appropriately support the demands and issues of the day
  • Escalate potential issues and risks to line manager to ensure the timely and efficient resolution
  • Follow the IT and Business process governance framework and IT change management and service delivery processes
  • Ensure application delivery activities for areas of responsibility align to the IT design principles, IT strategy & architecture and business objectives

 

What you will bring

 

  • Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline  
  • Over 5 years of experience in an IT application role  
  • More than 5 years of SAP experience, with a focus on SAP C4C as a functional consultant  
  • Minimum 5 years of C4C experience in full-cycle implementations and support projects  
  • Ability to understand business requirements and independently configure processes in the C4C system  
  • Experience in SAP C4C solution areas such as account management, interaction center, real-time analytics, lead and opportunity management, workflow rules, quotes, VOC, and insights  
  • Skilled in system settings for replication of business partners, account hierarchy, and contacts between S/4 and C4C  
  • Experience in UI adaptation and page layout configuration  
  • Experience with case management and data flow integration to S/4 systems  
  • Expertise in C4C-S/4 integration using HCI or PI, including CPM and SD modules  
  • Knowledge of code-list mapping, mashups, and ID mapping for integration  
  • Exposure to workflow rules, approval processes, and broadcasting  
  • Experience with SDK developments  
  • Proficient in creating reports and dashboards  
  • Familiarity with the order-to-cash process, including business partners and orders  
  • Advantageous experience in additional relevant areas  
  • Proven success in designing applications that address business problems  
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into application solutions  
  • Demonstrated competency in project management methodologies  
  • Strong problem-solving and remediation skills  
  • Excellent customer engagement and relationship-building skills  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences  
  • Proactive in anticipating issues and advising on workarounds and solutions
