About the role


We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Specialist - IT Portfolio Planning & Analytics to join our GBS team in our Manila site on a hybrid working setup.

The Specialist – IT Portfolio Planning & Analytics is responsible for leading and enhancing the planning and prioritization of the global IT portfolio, overseeing value tracking and performance monitoring in close collaboration with IT service lines and functional process owners, while providing clear portfolio visibility and actionable insights to support informed decision‑making and compliance across the IT organization.

What you will be doing


This role is responsible for driving IT portfolio planning and prioritization to ensure value‑based project delivery aligned with the broader IT strategy and business priorities. It supports the definition and execution of portfolio planning strategies, providing a structured framework for managing the IT projects portfolio over a 0–12-month horizon. As the subject matter expert for IT portfolio planning systems and processes, the role ensures effective adoption, simplification, and continuous improvement of portfolio planning frameworks.

The role also focuses on portfolio value management and analytics to support informed decision‑making across the organization. It owns the business case process, ensuring fit‑for‑purpose governance for a wide range of projects, and monitors value metrics to maximize returns across enterprise programs. Through regular portfolio dashboards, KPI reporting, and insights shared with the Group CIO, IT Leadership Team, and key stakeholders, the role enhances portfolio visibility, accountability, and data‑driven decision‑making across IT.

 

What you will bring

 

  • 5+ years working experience in IT project/program management and/or data analytics
  • Experience in dashboarding and data analysis. Advanced MS Excel capabilities. ServiceNow experience an advantage.
  • Proven understanding of the project management lifecycle. PMO experience an advantage. 
  • Proven structured problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills. Experience with Business Analysis, process design and defining business value out of process transformations / IT projects are advantages.
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or comparable industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to drive prioritisation discussions, coupled with the ability to present to senior key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across levels, functions, and geographies
