About the role
We are seeking a Specialist – Demand Planning for our Supply Chain Planning Team, where you’ll play a critical role in driving the Sales forecast accuracy linked to our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. By generating structured analysis on the sales forecasts, you’ll help, together with the Territory managers, improve the quality of forecasts, that will drive improvements in key metrics like Sales forecast accuracy (SFA), Inventory management Days of Cover (DoC), delivery performance (DIFOT), and customer satisfaction.
This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sales forecasts into supply chain and manufacturing plans.
This position is located at our Manila Office in Pasig and works on a midshift schedule.
What you will be doing
Sales Forecasting and Analysis
- Own and manage statistical sales forecast models, reviewing historical sales and adjusting parameters to enhance accuracy.
- Monitor market trends and incorporate them into forecasts.
- Integrate new business opportunities consistently into the sales forecast.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with Territory Managers (TM), Area Business Managers (ABM), and Marketing teams (MKT) to refine forecasts, by identifying and highlighting the major gaps both at product family as well as SKU levels.
- Lead discussions on identifying demand/supply unbalances and where constraints can exist, preparing scenario analyses, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Represent forecast changes with clear rationale during regional S&OP meetings.
System and Process Management
- Manage statistical sales forecasts in SAP as the Demand Planner Profile owner.
- Collect from TMs, ABM and MKT, and provide assumptions for budget planning and long-term forecasting activities.
- Align demand plans with regional business priorities to improve product availability and drive growth in key areas.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering or other quantitative discipline.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning.
- Supply Chain planning skills and experience evidencing deep understanding of demand, planning and forecasting processes.
- Proven experience in SAP data management, data governance or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in demand planning or a related field.
- Familiarity with S&OP processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying and incorporating market trends into forecasting.
