About the role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented individual to join us as a Demand Planning Specialist for our Asia Supply Chain team. If you are passionate about supply chain optimization and demand planning, this role offers an exciting avenue for professional growth and impact.
In this critical and visible role, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of demand planning in the Asia region. You will collaborate with cross functional teams and leverage cutting-edge technologies to drive demand planning and deliver continuous improvement programs to promote and maintain data integrity.
What you will be doing
- Manages Sales Forecast models by reviewing historical sales, adjusting statistical forecast parameters, and preparing plans to ensure accurate forecasts that reflect business complexity.
- Follows and captures market trends that will impact Sales Forecast.
- Monitors and uses information from New Opportunities Pipelines, consistently incorporating prospect businesses into the Sales Forecast.
- Organizes interaction events with TMs, ABMs, and Marketing teams, and coordinates sign-off with Sales Forecast approvers.
- Provides a focal point for coordination of discussions related to Supply constraint resolution (i.e. allocations), including preparation of Scenario Analysis and recommendations for the teams that will be impacted.
- Owns and operates Demand Planner Profile in SAP, which includes responsibility for input of Sales Forecast in the system.
- Represents main forecast variations with rationale for change.
- Participates in Regional S&OP meeting and leading Leading monthly communication with cross functional stakeholders of the demand plan, uncovering key assumptions influencing the plan and highlighting potential risks that may affect the ability to meet customer demand.
- Aligns with the Region’s business priorities, drive Sales Forecast increase in products and/or territories of special need of improvement.
- Provides assumptions for budget and long term (e.g. 5 years) planning activities.
What you will bring
- At least 4-6 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering or other quantitative discipline.
- Supply Chain planning skills and experience evidencing deep understanding of demand, planning and forecasting processes.
- Proven experience in SAP data management, data governance or related roles.
- Experience working with planning systems and technologies reliant on Master Data efficacy (importantly SAP S/4 HANA, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate demand insights with various stakeholders, demonstrating strong engagement and communication skills.
- Predisposition to plan and execute tasks independently, with integrity and accountability.
- Well-honed business intellect to identify and work towards key drivers of success.
