About the role
Based in our Asia Head Offices in Manila, Philippines, with hybrid home/office working conditions, you’ll join a diverse team spanning Australia and the Philippines, supporting key Orica plants and operations. As the Requisition Coordinator, you will manage an email hub, receiving forms and purchase requests via email to place requisitions for services, goods, and potentially materials, as well as handling invoice management in the future.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will provide support in developing and executing the procurement strategy, ensuring all purchases comply with policies and standard processes, including the proper use of systems like SAP.
What you will be doing
- Supports operations and escalations from all transactional activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Provides support in works with suppliers in identification and resolution of potential issues/discrepancies related to transactional procurement and escalating where necessary.
- Keeps effective and open communication between procurement and its internal customers and provides support to keeps internal stakeholders informed of issues or potential issues with purchases made.
- Supports the resolution all audit queries and reviewing existing audit processes.
- Completes purchasing activity from creating a Purchase Order in SAP, including monitoring the delivery of services and goods and following up until payment.
- Ensures transparency in activities and compliance with the regulations.
What you will bring
- At least 1-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or administrative role.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehousing, IT, and transport preferred but not required.
- Understanding and use of SAP transactions within a Supply Chain environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suites, particularly Excel – Excel operational experience highly regarded.
- Experience in vendor and stakeholder management is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with a customer service focus.
