About the role

The Processor - Accounts Payable undertakes invoice processing and matching, clearance of reconciliation accounts and processing of payments.

What you will be doing

Key Accountabilities Ensures that all KPIs are met Supports in providing accurate information regarding issues/escalations and KPIs of own workload. Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email Prepares non-inventory purchase order requisitions. Attaches the corresponding purchase orders to incoming invoices with all supporting documentation. Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders. Assists with monthly status reports, and monthly closings. Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards. Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons. Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports. Performs other duties as required to support Account Payable workstream. Processes invoices for vendors, taxes and employee expenses Coordinates approvals required for invoice processing and expense reimbursements Analyses and records data in system related to accounts payable record keeping Prepares and submits data for accrual Responds to AP inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Researches and resolves exceptions and issues Performs audit of invoices Initiates and delivers at least once a year initiative for process improvement Ensures stakeholder needs against agreed SLAs are met.

Role dependent - technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
