About the role
The Lead – People Services Onboarding is responsible for overseeing the global onboarding processes and managing a team of Supervisors across AusPac Asia, EMEA, LATAM and North America. Each Supervisor manages a team of Coordinators and Officers, ensuring seamless onboarding experience for new hires, operational excellence, and high standards of service delivery. This role is pivotal in driving collaboration, optimizing HR processes, and achieving team goals.
What you will be doing
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor Supervisors, who in turn manage Coordinators and Officers, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies and operational goals.
- Onboarding Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive experience for new hires.
- Escalation Management:

- Proactively identify potential escalations by monitoring team performance, process bottlenecks, and stakeholder feedback.
- Resolve escalations efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, including process improvements, additional training, or resource allocation.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in onboarding workflows, leveraging digital tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with different teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of onboarding processes with broader HR systems and policies.
- Performance Management: Monitor team performance against KPIs, including SLA compliance, response times, and customer satisfaction, as outlined in the performance goals.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Attend and contribute to cross-functional meetings, fostering collaboration with different teams to align onboarding with organizational objectives.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to HR policies, legal requirements, and data integrity standards. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Training and Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring all team members—from Supervisors to Coordinators and Officers—are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
What you will bring
- Experience: 5+ years in HR operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing onboarding or HR service delivery.
- Escalation Management: Proven ability to predict, manage, and resolve escalations in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop teams in a global, multicultural environment, including indirect management of Coordinators and Officers through Supervisors.
- Commitment to Results: Willingness to work the hours necessary to deliver on commitments and meet business needs.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and process improvement skills, with a focus on delivering results and mitigating risks.
