About the role

 

This role leads capability development initiatives by partnering with global and regional stakeholders to identify skill gaps, design and deliver scalable learning solutions, and enable strategic workforce performance across the organisation. Across the Capability Development team, key capability clusters include SHES Leadership, Digital Fluency, Technical Expertise, Enterprise Capability, and Strategic Execution, ensuring consistent, enterprise-wide approaches aligned to business priorities.

What you will be doing

 

  • Partner with SMEs and leaders across the organization to identify critical skill gaps that impact operational efficiency and strategic priorities
  • Apply an enterprise lens to ensure global consistency of capability initiatives, while collaborating with regional teams for local contextualization
  • Use data and insights from multiple sources to assess current capability state and identify required improvements
  • Analyze learner engagement and track key metrics to support data-informed capability uplift decisions
  • Scale and adapt existing learning solutions to deliver a consistent learner experience across online and face-to-face formats
  • Apply contemporary learning and adult development methodologies to create engaging, practical, and business-aligned solutions
  • Support the deployment of capability initiatives through established communication and engagement channels
  • Apply project management principles to manage priorities, ensure clear communication, and deliver initiatives on time
  • Maintain consistency across capability development systems, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional Organizational Capability team to support talent growth, expertise, and internal mobility

What you will bring

 

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Psychology, Business, Management, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • Relevant experience in organizational capability, learning and development, learning design, systems, or project management
  • At least 7 years’ experience working within complex, matrix organizations
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and maintain strong stakeholder engagement
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience in change management and innovative problem solving
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to digital learning tools, with a strong interest in AI-assisted learning solutions
  • Demonstrates adaptability, curiosity, continuous improvement mindset, and strong customer orientation
