About the role


Join our dynamic Manila team and take the helm as our Lead – Accounts Receivable. In this role, you'll spearhead the performance of our workstream within Orica's Global Business Services, playing a pivotal role in driving process improvement and delivering top-tier service to our in-scope countries.

What you will be doing


People Leadership 

  • Develop and train workstream employees, focusing on supervisors. 
  • Implement GBS strategies effectively. 

 
Process Leadership 

  • Manage overall workstream, ensuring alignment with supervisors and efficient workload allocation. 
  • Drive and support process improvement projects. 
  • Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance with internal control standards. 
  • Ensure smooth integration of processes during transitions. 

  
Operations: 

  • Ensure all KPIs are met, including timeliness for generating customer invoices and cash application. 
  • Provide accurate operational performance reporting, including attendance monitoring and timely query responses. 
  • Maintain high accuracy ratings on posted documents and meet collection compliance targets. 
  • Lead stakeholder meetings to gather feedback and plan action items. 


Ad Hoc Duties: 

  • Serve as a backup for Service Delivery Manager as needed. 

What you will bring

 

 

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Finance/General Accounting/Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable/Cash Management within a large corporate organization, with at least 5 years of direct people management experience. 
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, practices, and internal policy. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal in conversational and business English. 
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
