About the role
Join our global Corporate Communications team as our Internal Communications Coordinator where you’ll supports employee engagement initiatives by creating impactful communications content, managing digital channels, and helping deliver campaigns and events that connect and inform employees across our business and around the world.
What you will be doing
- Helps communicate Orica’s strategy by developing clear, engaging and engaging messaging for our employees.
- Supporting employee communication campaigns, activities, and programs that keep our people informed, engaged, and inspired.
- Creating, reviewing, and coordinating content across multiple employee communication channels, ensuring messages reaches our people effectively.
- Identifying new ideas, tools, and approaches to improve communication effectiveness and enhance employee engagement.
- Designing visually appealing content that captures attention and supports communication objectives.
- Helping to maintain and promote our brand across internal communication materials and collateral.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to support organisational change initiatives and strategic priorities through clear and timely communications.
- Tracking and analysing engagement metrics and channel performance to measure impact and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in communications, employee engagement, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a complex organisation, with a large employee base, ideally global.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to plan, influence, and successfully deliver communication initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Experience creating graphic, visual, or multimedia content to support communication campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with experience measuring communication effectiveness, interpreting engagement data, and developing insights from metrics.
Software and Systems
- Video editing and production skills
- Microsoft Office suite including highly proficient with PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Highly proficient in Canva
