About the role
As a Raw Materials Planning Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely availability of raw materials needed for production. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, processing transactions in SAP, and supporting the preparation of material plans and schedules. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to address delivery issues, maintain accurate records, and help keep production running smoothly.
What you will be doing
- Supports daily priority planning of deliveries with transport operators from each supply site based on materials requirements planning (MRP) to customers.
- Applies best practice stock management principles for real time production posting and inventory movements
- Communicates and links market place activities with production priorities.
- Translates the Supply plan that comes from S&OP into material requirements and supports the alignment of demand and supply.
- Works closely with procurement and sourcing to secure the supply of raw materials to the manufacturing centers.
- Balances the supply master plan to optimize manufacturing capacity and reduce cost.
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all Planning related Master Data objects.
- Effectively captures and communicates delivery and manufacturing data to key stakeholders as required.
- Supports implementation of master production schedule weekly and control the daily MRP and DRP processes.
What you will bring
- Relevant Degree related to industrial engineering or supply chain.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning in an MNC environment (preferably with a global organisation).
- Familiarity with logistics processes such as transportation, warehousing, and distribution is a plus.
- Highly organised and customer focused.
- Basic understanding of MRP and knowledge of SAP or other ERP system, Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint is an advantage.
