About the role
We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a skilled and experienced Procurement Coordinator to join our inclusive and supportive team based in Manila. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Coordinator plays a pivotal role as the first point of control for all GroundProbe third party spend and making sure that the overall spend category plans are effectively implemented.
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for nominated Purchasing Groups and/or Locations. The role plays a pivotal role in the execution of short- and long-term supply chain strategy, risk and change management.
What you will be doing
- Purchase Order Management: Ensure compliance with standards for Purchase Order creation, process and update purchase orders, and communicate changes or delays to stakeholders.
- Supplier Engagement: Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing activities, acknowledgments, audits, delivery error investigations, and corrective actions.
- Transactional Sourcing: Perform sourcing for approved requests not covered by contracts, supporting new product developments and aligning spend to category strategies.
- Exception Handling & Resolution: Address MRP exception messages to align demand and supply, resolve Accounts Payables issues, and maintain procurement data in relevant systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders to clarify requests, coordinate procurement requirements, and support lifecycle activities for Purchase Orders.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Purchasing or Procurement role is essential with experience in high complexity, low volume procurement is an advantage
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, logistics management or commercial management are desirable.
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Office and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and knowledge of ERP system logic, ERP experience (AX2009 or D365 favourable) would be an advantage.
- Understanding and use of ERP transactions and reporting within a Purchasing/Procurement environment.
- Highly organised and customer focused.
- Strong understanding of data management, with a consistent focus on integrity and adherence to procurement ethics.
- The ability to work autonomously within remote team structures.
