About the role
The Planning Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of supply chain data, supporting operational efficiency through meticulous data entry, maintenance, and reporting. This role is instrumental in transitioning critical supply chain functions into Orica’s Global Business Services (GBS) model supporting Groundprobe, including documenting end-to-end processes like forecasting and maintaining data accuracy across ERP systems (AX2009 and D365). Working closely with procurement, inventory, and distribution teams, the coordinator provides actionable insights, upholds data governance standards, and directly contributes to the smooth flow of goods and services, enhancing overall business performance and customer satisfaction.
What you will be doing
- Perform data entry and data maintenance within the AX2009 and D365 ERP systems ensuring accuracy and adherence to our data entry standards, maintaining forecasts, inventory levels, and sales order information.
- Confirm data validation alongside data entry by following strict quality control, resolving data inconsistencies by collaborating with internal departments and suppliers.
- Generate reporting and analytics to provide insights into key supply chain metrics, run AIP (Annual Improvement Plan) including inventory value, DIFOT (delivered in full on time), COGS (cost of goods sold) and supplier performance.
- Collaborate and communicate with supply chain team and other departments, facilitating effective communication to ensure alignment on data-related initiatives.
What you will bring
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in data entry, particularly within a supply chain environment.
- Proven experience collaborating with commercial, demand, and supply planning teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution, with hands-on experience in ERP systems.
- Effective in both written and spoken conversational English, with a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Power BI preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
