About the role
As a Planning Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our production plans are flawlessly executed. Your primary responsibility will be to support the planning activities, ensuring that our cost and service goals are met. You will be working with a highly regulated and specialized range of products that we offer to our esteemed customers within the mining and civil construction markets. What you will be doing
- Supports priority planning of production and applies best practice stock management principles.
- Links market activities with production priorities, safety stock strategies, and raw materials management.
- Translates the Supply plan into material requirements and supports the alignment of demand and supply.
- Communicates with stakeholders weekly about the supply plan and potential risks or disruptions.
- Works with Procurement and Sourcing to secure the supply of raw materials.
- Responds immediately to escalated issues at plant or delivery domain and balances the supply master plan.
- Maintains quality and accuracy of Planning related Master Data objects and supports implementation of master production schedule.
What you will bring
- Relevant Degree related to business management or supply chain
- At least 1-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning in an MNC environment (preferably with a global organisation)
- Highly organised and customer focused
- Basic understanding of MRP and knowledge of SAP or other ERP system, Excel, Microsoft word is an advantage
- Possesses integrity and builds trust both internally and externally, demonstrating business intellect and a competitive spirit.
- Exudes confidence, shows courage in decision-making, and is open to feedback.
- Models resilience and flexibility, adapts well to new circumstances, and works in a team-oriented fashion, supporting others’ success.
