About the role

 

The Coordinator - Planning is responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain data, processes, and analysis. This role ensures accurate forecasting, inventory tracking, and safety stock management, aligning with business needs through collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Coordinator plays a critical role in enhancing supply chain performance, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting business operations with proactive planning and reporting.

What you will be doing

 

  • Provides S&OP Process support.
  • Perform product realignment and manage phase-in/phase-out processes for products across LatAm, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with supply chain strategies.
  • Gather and analyze demand forecast data to identify discrepancies, worst-performing products, and potential areas for improvement. Prepare and share detailed reports on forecast accuracy (FA), bias, and forecast value add (FVA) for top clients.
  • Assess, monitor, and track inventory positions by generating and updating inventory health reports. Identify exceptions to inventory policies and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Recalculate and update safety stock levels based on consumption patterns, lead times, and business requirements. Generate quarterly reports with recommended changes and ensure they are accurately reflected in SAP.
  • Excess & Obsolete Inventory Control: Define and implement inventory control procedures to manage excess and obsolete materials. Provide analysis and recommendations to reduce slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Collaborate with demand planners and supply chain teams to deliver timely, accurate reports on inventory health, safety stock, and product performance, adhering to defined SLAs.

What you will bring

 

  • Proven experience in planning, inventory management, or demand forecasting within a GBS or global supply chain environment.
  • Degree in data analytics, qualified in business, logistics, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain / Planning roles. 
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP), preferable SAP, and material requirements planning (MRP). 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience managing supply chain operations using SAP, IBP, and advanced forecasting tools.
  • Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data, generating actionable insights and detailed reports for cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product lifecycle processes, including product realignment, phase-in/out procedures, and safety stock updates.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial teams, demand planners, and supply planners to ensure the smooth execution of supply chain activities.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, excess & obsolete inventory procedures, and adherence to internal policies and SLAs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred but not required.
  • Willing to work on a mid-shift schedule.
