About the role
People Services Global Hub Coordinators provide first level advice and support on key foundation and transactional activities (employee lifecycle, policies and procedures, HR systems) to the HR team, Line Managers and Employees within Orica which enables key customers to enhance workplace relations and productivity in line with Business Strategy. They are custodians and administrators of all HR data.
What you will be doing
- Support onboarding activities for English and French-speaking countries within agreed service levels (SLA).
- Ensure new hire queries from employees, hiring managers, and HR are answered accurately, in compliance with policies and SLAs.
- Role model personal commitment to Safety and Orica’s Charter and Values during all onboarding interactions.
- Provide an engaging and accurate onboarding experience for new hires, measured by customer satisfaction surveys and feedback.
- Deliver onboarding support through ServiceNow and centralized phone support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities to enhance the onboarding process.
- Ensure accuracy of onboarding information and timely delivery of documentation to new hires, managers, and HR.
- Prepare and issue onboarding-related documentation (e.g., offer letters, employment contracts, induction packs, pre-employment compliance documents).
- Conduct HR system administration tasks related to onboarding, including setting up new hires in SuccessFactors and processing required job/position details.
- Coach and support line managers and new hires in the use of onboarding tools and HR systems.
- Provide first-line guidance on onboarding policies, procedures, and processes via ServiceNow and HR support line.
- Manage digital storage of new hire documentation and onboarding records.
- Support mass onboarding activities and data uploads during hiring campaigns or large recruitment projects.
- Participate in team and company-wide onboarding-related projects as required.
- Administer pre-employment checks for new starters across Orica (English and French-speaking countries).
- Coordinate onboarding learning requirements, including mandatory training assignments, validation of completions, and reporting.
What you will bring
- Strong administration skills.
- Intermediate-Advance Excel Skills.
- Ability to work with electronic processes and systems with extensive experience working with SAP SuccessFactors.
- An understanding of HR Policies & Procedures.
- An understanding of HR, payroll and superannuation/pension related legislation and statutory requirements.
- 1 -3 years’ experience in a customer service or Admin role, preferably an HR related position.
- Graduate qualifications in HR or Business Studies, an advantage, but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in the French language required.
- Must be willing to work between 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
