About the role

 

As a Coordinator - Distribution, your role will involve supporting distribution activities across the Australia-Pacific region. This includes providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, as well as managing vendor invoices (VIM). Your efforts will ensure smooth and efficient distribution operations, contributing to the overall success of the team.

What you will be doing

 

  • Analyses procurement data and collaborates with stakeholders to validate opportunities and manage risks.
  • Receives, reviews and processes Vendor Invoices for allocated supply chain suppliers (VIM).
  • Accurately completes required ERP (SAP – 4/S Hannah) processes and transactions in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Promptly investigates and resolves problem invoices while consistently monitoring and completing key system transactions in a timely manner.
  • Prepares weekly reporting on status of VIM for analysis and action (e.g. Number and Value of invoices outstanding).
  • Supports road and rail distribution activities by dispatching required orders and creating and lodging accurate rail bookings.
  • Plans and schedules orders for dispatch while being involved in inventory control and managing storage locations.
  • Attends weekly meetings with internal customers and operational teams while ensuring all system transactions are completed accurately.
  • Complete and ensure that all MO41 and Doc packs are lodged accurately and within operational lead times.
  • Provides support to team members and the Specialist Warehouse & Distribution including coverage when required.
  • Actively contributes to distribution team objectives and initiatives while promptly responding to and resolving queries from internal and external vendors.

What you will bring

 

 

  • Proficiency in conversational English language both written and verbal.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain. 
  • Familiarization and experience with using large scale ERP (SAP S/4-Hanna preferred) for invoice, customer order and transport task processing. 
  • Front line customer service or accounts payable experience preferably in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Experience in reviewing and processing supplier invoices for payment.
  • Possess intermediate understanding of basic accounting principles, practices and internal policy.
