About the role
The Coordinator – Customer Service & Supply supports the Sales and Business Development teams by coordinating customer orders, service orders, and supply logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery. The role involves managing customer POS, liaising with trucking providers, handling customer service documentation, and supporting supply management within Orica’s Specialty Mining Chemicals vertical. You will work closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
What you will be doing
Customer Service and Documentation
- Processes and confirms customer orders, ensuring accurate sales order documentation.
- Manages end to end sales cycle activities in SAP, from order entry to delivery and invoicing.
- Flags and communicates issues that may impact delivery, pricing, or payment to Commercial Managers.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams (e.g. Manufacturing, Credit & Collections) to resolve customer issues.
- Maintains customer accounts and records in C4C and Ariba, while providing insights to improve customer service.
Supply Management
- Supports weekly S&OP execution by coordinating with manufacturing, supply chain, and third party partners.
- Works closely with supply planning and manufacturing teams to track production updates and inventory levels.
- Generates delivery dockets in SAP and coordinates with 3PL providers to ensure timely transport availability.
- Proactively communicates delivery schedule changes to customers to ensure alignment.
- Assists Commercial Managers with customer forecasting, supply planning, and transport set up for new customers.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in customer service, planning, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Detail oriented with focus on accuracy and problem solving.
