About the role

The Coordinator - Accounts Receivable, based in our Manila office, plays a key role in supporting business partners through the delivery of financial analysis, reporting, and accounts receivable services. The role helps the business effectively manage trade working capital by monitoring outstanding customer balances, following up on overdue accounts, and driving timely debt collection. Additionally, the Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for Accounts Receivable inquiries, providing prompt support and ensuring a high standard of customer service while maintaining accurate and efficient AR processes.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure all Accounts Receivable KPIs are consistently achieved, including timely query resolution, accurate transaction processing, and adherence to service delivery standards.
  • Maintain a 95% or higher response rate within two business days for AR-related queries, providing timely and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Achieve a 95% or higher accuracy rate in billing and cash application activities, ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial records.
  • Prepare and deliver key AR reports on time, including Debtors Aging, Customer Statements, Cash Flow, Trade Reports, and other operational reporting requirements.
  • Support smooth and timely month-end and year-end closing activities, with a target of zero delays through proactive coordination and issue resolution.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships by meeting agreed SLAs, participating in stakeholder meetings, escalating issues as needed, and providing accurate performance reporting, including KPIs, operational updates, and process improvement opportunities.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Accounting.
  • Knowledge of invoicing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations
  • Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
  • Experience with SAP and strong Excel skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Experience monitoring customer credit limits and credit risk.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information.
  • Customer-focused with strong collection skills
  • Experience in a multinational or shared services environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local tax and invoicing requirements is preferred.
